How MINC CPD+ works
Pre-test, modules, then a post-test at 80% to pass, ending in a certificate with a QR code any employer or council can check. About 40 minutes per course.
Common questions
Is MINC CPD+ free?
The first course, MINC-CPD-001 Recognition and Initial Management of the Acutely Ill Patient, is free and carries a full CPD credit hour. No card is needed. Other courses are paid for individually.
How many CPD hours does a course carry?
Each MINC CPD+ course carries one CPD credit hour and is sized to be completed in a single sitting of about forty minutes.
What is the pass mark?
The post-test pass mark is 80%. If you do not reach it you can retake the test as many times as you need at no extra cost, and every question explains its answer once you have answered it.
Can I study without an internet connection?
Yes. Tap Download on any course you have access to and the whole course, including its tables and questions, is stored on your device and works with no connection at all. Progress syncs when you next have signal.
How do I pay for a premium course?
Premium courses are paid for with MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money or a bank transfer. You send the payment from your own app and enter the transaction reference at checkout. A MINC administrator matches it and the course unlocks, usually within a few hours on working days. We never ask for a PIN or a card number.
How can an employer check my certificate?
Every certificate carries a unique number and a QR code. Scanning it opens a public verification page that confirms the certificate is genuine and shows whether it is still valid, without anyone needing an account.
Will my professional council accept these CPD hours?
CPD credit hours are stated on every course and certificate. Whether those hours count towards a particular licence renewal is decided by your professional council. MINC keeps the record in the form councils ask for so you can present it.
