Teamwork, Collaboration and Interprofessional Communication was selected because it addresses an important soft skills and communications responsibility with direct implications for patient safety, continuity and quality of care. The module progresses from foundational concepts through assessment, soft skills and communications action, communication, evaluation and an integrated practice-improvement exercise.

Module aim
Staffing shortages, unclear roles, weak induction, inconsistent performance management and preventable burnout require systematic human-resource management adapted to health services.
What you will be able to do
- By the end of the module, the learner will be able to apply rights and verification checks throughout medication administration.
- By the end of the module, the learner will be able to calculate, prepare, administer and document medicines safely.
- By the end of the module, the learner will be able to recognise and manage high-risk medication situations within scope.
- By the end of the module, the learner will be able to monitor for therapeutic effects and adverse reactions.
- By the end of the module, the learner will be able to report medication incidents and suspected adverse drug reactions appropriately.
